Parishes in the Diocese of Trenton have scheduled the following events:
St. Mary’s Bagels and Bibles, Barnegat, a group of Catholic men who meet on the first Saturday after the 8 a.m. Mass in Monsignor Reinbold Hall, has announced its schedule of guest speakers for 2024. The group provides an opportunity for men to share fellowship as well as to grow in their Catholic faith.
A key feature of the group is the monthly speaker who can be a priest, deacon, ministry head, Catholic psychologist or a person giving testimony on how they became Catholic or returned to the faith. The meetings also include prayer and music. Coffee and bagels are provided.

St. Aloysius Parish, Jackson, will host a young adult event, “O Come Let Us Adore” Jan. 5 from 7 to 9 p.m. The event, open to all young adults ages 18 to 39, includes Eucharistic Adoration followed by pizza and refreshments. To attend, contact Jen Petrillo, parish catechetical leader, at 732-370-1515, ext. 311 or [email protected]. The parish is located at 935 Bennetts Mills Rd.
St. Mary of the Lakes Parish Health Ministry, Medford, will host its next Chair Fitness Class for seniors age 55 and older Jan. 3 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Emmaus Center, 40 Jackson Rd. The class aligns with the recommended 150 minutes of weekly exercise for older adults, enhancing cardiovascular health and promoting overall well-being from low-intensity activity. Participants are asked to fill out the sign-up sheet at the parking lot entrance of the church or confirm via call/text at 609-222-4501.
St. Mary of the Lakes Parish, Medford, will host its Volunteer Appreciation Dinner Feb. 9 in Marco’s Restaurant, Indian Spring Country Club, Marlton. The dinner runs from 6 to 10 p.m. and is open to volunteers ages 21 and older and guests/spouses are invited. Open seating, no reservations will be taken by table.
Entrees include filet mignon au poivre, chicken Florentine, honey glazed salmon, pasta primavera (vegetarian and gluten free). Call or email the office at 609-654-8208, ext. 110, with choice of entrée by Jan. 26.
St. James All-Inclusive Ministry, Pennington, will host a sensory friendly Mass Jan. 13at 5 p.m. in the church, 115 E. Delaware Ave.
The Mass provides a safe, comfortable and stigma-free environment for children and adults with sensory challenges or any kind of disability. To help participants engage in the celebration of Mass in a meaningful way, the accommodations include softer music and lighting, bell free, shorter and more literal homilies and low gluten hosts. Families and individuals are encouraged to get up and move around as needed. They are also welcome to bring fidgets or noise canceling headphones.
