The following parishes and schools in the Diocese of Trenton have submitted these events:

Epiphany Parish, Brick, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding with a dinner dance Feb. 10 starting at 6 p.m. in Spring Lake Manor, 415 Highway 71, Spring Lake. Tickets are $75 per person and includes music and dancing, sit-down dinner, unlimited soft drinks and dessert. For information, call the parish at 732-458-0220.

Sacred Heart Church, Trenton, will serve as the site of the “Grace of Peace Memorial Concert” Feb. 11 at 3 p.m. Richard Latman, founder of the Capital Singers of Trenton. will host the concert during which music and songs calling for peace in the world will be presented. Current and former members of the Capital Singers and special guests will perform. There is no admission fee. Sacred  Heart Church is located at 343 South Broad St., Trenton.

Bishop John C. Reiss Council, Knights of Columbus, Marlboro, will collect food items for the Mercy Center Food Bank in Asbury Park, a charitable Catholic organization  operated by the Sisters of Mercy, before and after all Masses during Super Bowl weekend Feb. 10-11. Contributions of canned goods -- soup, stew, tunafish, chicken, vegetables and fruit as well as cereal, dry foods, instant potatoes, peanut butter, jelly, non-perishable milk and canned or boxed juices. Do not contribute items in glass containers. Monetary donations and shopping cards will be accepted. For every $5 donated, the Mercy Center Foodbank can distribute $30 worth of food for needy families.

Visitation Parish’s Grief Share Bereavement Sessions, Brick, will resume Feb. 12 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the church located at 730 Lynnwood Ave. For information, call 732-477-7059, ext. 101 or email [email protected].

Tabernacle Council, Knights of Columbus, will host a Spirituality Night Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Hoffman Hall of Holy Eucharist Parish, 520 Medford Lakes Rd., Tabernacle. The presentation will be on “Bringing spirituality and holiness into the path of the life you choose whether it be religious, married or single life. Father Michael McClane will lead a presentation on having a religious vocation. Refreshments will follow.

St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, Lavallette, will hold a Lenten Bible Study Feb. 15, 22, 29, March 7, 14 and 21 from 9:30-11 a.m. in the church hall, 103 Washington Ave. The series, using the book “Discovering Who You Are in Christ,” will help participants understand their identity in Christ and give personal examples and practical suggestions for motivation and inspiration. Visitation Parish Holy Name Society, Brick, will host a Fish Fry Feb. 16 at the parish, 73 Lynnwood Ave. Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5:30. Cost is $20 for fish dinner and $10 for pasta dinner. Entertainment will be provided by the parish music ministry. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available at the rectory office during regular business hours or after Mass in the church narthex. All tickets must be purchased no later than Feb. 15.

St. Pius X Parish, Forked River, will hold a Lenten Fish Fry on the Fridays during Lent from Feb. 16 to March 22 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the parish hall, 300 Lacey Rd. tickets are $19 per person and children are $9. The Stations of the Cross will follow at 7 p.m.

St. Isaac Jogues Parish, Marlton, will host a presentation “Give Up Worry for Lent” Feb. 16 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the church located at 349 Evesboro-Medford Rd. The talk will be preceded by praying the Stations of the Cross. Presenter is Gary Zimak, Catholic speaker, radio host and member of St. Mary of the Lakes Parish, Medford

Francis House of Prayer, 84 Walnford Rd., Allentown, will host an online retreat “Experiencing God’s Love in the Gospel of John” Feb. 20, March 12 and April 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Participants will read the book written by Father Anthony Kelly, C.S.S.R., and Father Francis Moloney, SDB. St. Maximilian Kolbe Altar-Rosary Society, Toms River, will host a presentation on “A Catholic priest’s 500 miles walking pilgrimage from France to Spain” and “Faith and life lessons learned from Camino de Santiago” Feb. 21 in the parish hall, 130 St. Maximilian Lane. Presenter is Father Peter James Alindogan, pastor of St. Veronica Parish, Howell, and diocesan director of missions. The afternoon begins with hospitality at 11 a.m., followed recitation of the Rosary at noon and continues with Father Alindogan’s presentation at 12:30. Contact is Anna at 732-581-2247.

San Alfonso Retreat House, 755 Ocean Ave., West End, will hold a “Lenten Soup for the Soul” series from Feb. 21 to March 18 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Soup will be served from 6 to 7 p.m. with the presentation following. Topics and presenters are: Feb. 21, “Become What You Celebrate,” Father Timothy Tarnacki; March 4, “What Does It Mean to be the Beloved?” Mercy Sister Maureen Christensen; March 11, “How to Witness To Your Faith in the 21st Century,” Cristina D’Averso-Collins; March 18, “Praying with Jesus’ Good News in the Parables of Mercy,” Judy Schiavo.

St. William the Abbot Parish, 2740 Lakewood-Allenwood Rd., Howell, will host a presentation with  Xavier Reyer-Ayral, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. He is a renowned expert on Marian apparitions and author of “Revelations,” “The Hidden Secret Messages” and “Prophecies of the Blessed Virgin Mary.”

The Ladies of St. Joseph, Millstone, will host a women’s retreat Feb. 24 from noon to 4 p.m. in St. Joseph Parish Hall, 91 Stillhouse Rd. Presenter will be Sister of St. Joseph Marcy Springer, director of Francis House of Prayer, Allentown. Theme is “Without Change, There Would Be No Butterflies.” Admission is free and lunch will be served. Deadline to register is Feb. 16. Contact JoAnn at [email protected].

Lawrence Council, Knights of Columbus, will host a Lenten retreat Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Pope John Paul Community Room of St. Ann Parish, 1253 Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville. Presenter will be Msgr. Thomas J. Mullelly, diocesan vicar for clergy and consecrated life and director of seminarians. Theme is “A Blessed Journey Through the Desert: Experiencing God’s Transforming Grace During Lent. To register in advance contact Grand Knight Joe Amodio at [email protected]. In-person registration on the day of the event begins at 8:30. There is no fee but free-will donations will be accepted.

The Gospel Choir from Sacred Heart Parish, Trenton, will host a Black History celebration Feb. 25 at 4:30 p.m. in Holy Cross Church, 215 Adeline St., Trenton.

The event, themed, “The Lost Rhythm:  Unveiling the History of Drums and Slavery,” will feature a literary compilation by Angela Dodson Days, Negro spiritual songs and songs from Africa an African cultural performance by Dennies Chico Greenflower of Trenton.

St. Rose Parish, Belmar, will host a new eight-session Scripture study on the Gospel of St. John Feb. 28-April 24. Sessions will meet on Wednesdays from 9:45 to 11:30 a.m. in the parish center, 603 Seventh Ave. (Participants should enter through Eighth Ave. parking lot.) There will be no class March 27.
