Young Adults invited to Service and Social June 1

The Diocese of Trenton’s annual Service and Social event is planned for June 1, inviting all young adults ages 18-39 to this day-long chance to connect with other young adults through serving the community. This year’s activity will take place at Vincent’s Legacy, 2201 Marconi Rd., Wall Township. Sponsored by the Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, the day will begin at 8:45 a.m. with prayer, and service will include delivering furniture and home goods to families in need that have recently acquired housing, as well as picking up donations, organizing and cleaning them. Participants are asked to wear closetoed shoes and dress for the weather and manual labor. Pizza will be provided for lunch; those with special dietary needs are asked to bring their own lunch. The day concludes at 2 p.m.
