Robert J. Picollo, father of priest, dies

Funeral services have been scheduled for Robert J. Picollo who died May 23 at age 82. Mr. Picollo was the father of Father Christopher Picollo, pastor of Nativity Parish, Fair Haven.

A gathering of friends and family will be held June 2 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, Marlton, at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be private.

Born in 1940, Mr. Picollo worked as an accountant for the Naval Audit Service and then later as an auditor for the Environmental Protection Agency. He was involved in many capacities in St. Joan of Arc Parish.

Mr. Picollo was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Marion (Fusco) Picollo; sister, Susan, and son, Brian.

In addition to Father Picollo, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dolores G. (DiBella) Picollo, a brother, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and many friends and other relatives.
