NEW YORK OSV News –  Here are some television program notes for the week of April 9, with their TV Parental Guidelines ratings if available. They have not been reviewed and therefore are not necessarily recommended by OSV News.

Sunday, April 9, 4-5:30 a.m. EDT (EWTN) "Solemn Mass of Easter Sunday." Pope Francis celebrates the Eucharistic liturgy for Easter Sunday in Vatican City. The Mass will re-air 7-8:30 p.m. EDT (TV-G – general audience).

Sunday, April 9, 6-6:30 a.m. EDT (EWTN) "Urbi et Orbi: Message and Blessing." Pope Francis gives the traditional address and blessing to the city of Rome and to the world. The event will be rebroadcast 9-9:30 p.m. EDT (TV-G – general audience).

Sunday, April 9, 9-10 p.m. EDT (History) "Thanksgiving Dinner." The series "The Food That Built America" looks at the culinary history of Thanksgiving.

Friday, April 14, 9-10 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Schumann: Genius and Madness." On this episode of the series "Great Performances: Now Hear This," host Scott Yoo investigates 19th-century German composer Robert Schumann’s bipolar disorder and creative genius (TV-PG – parental guidance suggested).

Friday, April 14, 10-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Ballet Hispanico’s Dona Perón." Ballet Hispanico explores Evita Perón’s life and diverging legacies. Part of the series "Next at the Kennedy Center" (TV-PG – parental guidance suggested).

Saturday, April 15, 4-7 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "Dedication of Christ the King Chapel at Christendom College." As it marks the 45th anniversary of its founding, Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia, dedicates its campus chapel to Christ the King. Bishop Michael F. Burbidge of Arlington, Virginia serves as the main celebrant (TV-G – general audience).
