Cause for celebration, joy

The Diocese of Trenton has had cause for great joy with the May 20 Ordination of 12 new deacons and the June 3 Ordination of Father Kevin Hrycenko by Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M. The new issue of The Monitor Magazine has special coverage of these two milestone events, including on location reporting, a collection of poignant photos and the responses of the newly-ordained in our IN THEIR OWN WORDS feature.
In his message for this issue, Bishop O’Connell reflects on the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, Corpus Christi, noting that the Eucharist provides “strength to live the Christian life” as U.S. Catholics prepare for the parish phase of the National Eucharistic Revival.
