George Thomas Elliott, longtime choir director Atlantic Highlands paris

A memorial service was to be scheduled at a future date in the parish center.
Born in Long Branch, Mr. Elliott pursued music studies at Temple University, Philadelphia, and the Julliard School of Music and the Institute of Audio Research.
He taught music and voice at Henry Hudson Regional School, Highlands, for 33 years and for five years in Manchester Township High School. In 1974 he opened Shore Fire Recording Studio in Long Branch and in 1995 he started his 27-year career as choir director of the adult and youth choirs in St. Agnes Parish.
Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patricia Elliott, and a daughter and son-in-law.
