Bishop’s Anniversary Blessings to be focus of special coverage in the November issue of The Monitor Magazine
The first of two Bishop’s Anniversary Blessing Masses was celebrated Oct. 2 in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton. More than 70 married couples from Burlington and Mercer Counties who are marking milestone anniversaries – one, 25, 50 or more years of marriage – were recognized by Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., during the Mass.  

The second Mass, set for Oct. 9 at 3 p.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral, 61 Georgia Rd., Freehold, will honor 200 anniversary couples who live in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

A special section on the two Bishop’s Anniversary Blessings events will run in the November issue of The Monitor Magazine, featuring reporting, interviews and lots of poignant photos. Watch for this special tribute in November.
