Led by Father Jerome Guld, pastor, the procession began in St. Paul Church on East Union Street and traveled the half-mile to All Saints Church as the faithful prayed the Rosary and sang hymns. A statue of Our Lady of Fatima that was mounted on a stand draped in blue and adorned with florals was carried by four parishioners while Father Guld carried the monstrance with the Blessed Sacrament.
Once at All Saints, the statue of the Blessed Mother was crowned and the Blessed Sacrament was reposed. The procession was held as an opportunity for parishioners to give public witness to their faith while commemorating the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, which was May 13, to pray for peace in the world and respect for all human life.
