Funeral services were held in St. Gregory the Great Church, Hamilton Square, for Jean M. Margadonna, who died April 5 at age 60. Ms. Margadonna was a faculty member in St. Gregory the Great Academy.

Born and raised in Holbrook, Mass., Ms. Margadonna received an associate’s degree in graphic design from Blue Hills Regional Technical School. Following her marriage, she and her husband Robert moved to New Jersey, first living in Sea Bright and then Cream Ridge. She joined St. Gregory the Great Parish where her children received their Sacraments and attended the parish grammar school. She joined the school faculty and has served as a substitute teacher and teacher’s aide. She was a catechist in the parish religious education program and also assisted with the summer school and summer camp programs for the past 20 years.

Ms. Margadonna was predeceased by her father. She is survived by her husband; three children; her mother; three siblings and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation by visiting In Memory Of at inmemof.org.
