Burlington parish plans Marian Eucharistic celebration May 14


St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Burlington, will host a Marian Eucharistic procession in honor of Our Lady of Fatima May 14.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. in St. Paul Church, 223 East Union Street and will include exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a Scripture Reading, recitation of prayers, Litany and a Rosary, and crowning of a statue of the Blessed Mother.

A procession with the Blessed Sacrament will then travel from St. Paul Church to All Saints Church, 502 High Street where Psalms with prayers and Benediction will be held. Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m.

The distance between St. Paul Church and All Saints Church is about a half-mile. Persons who are unable to walk in the procession are encouraged to participate in the church events only.
