Despite ongoing pandemic and inflation challenges, Medford Knights Charity Fund, a New Jersey nonprofit corporation, recently raised $83,000 during its 15th annual charity golf tournament for Medford’s Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Family Promise of Burlington County, and 1st Way of Burlington County. The proceeds are a 23 percent increase from the 2021 tournament.

“We are grateful to our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers, all of whom recognized the continued impact of current challenges on organizations within in our communities that treat every man, woman, and child with respect, dignity, and compassion,” said Don Bouchard, Council 6520 Past Grand Knight, who co-chaired the event.

The event had 50 sponsors, including Holman (Driving What’s Right), Healthcare Stakeholders Solutions LLC, The Law Office of David J. Karbasian, PC, Miles Technologies and Zallie's Fresh Kitchen at ShopRite of Medford. Holman and Burns Honda generously supplied vehicles for a chance to win with a hole in one. The event also featured lunch, dinner and a live auction.
