Plenary indulgence for Catholics participating in March for Life

To the Clergy, Religious and Faithful of the Diocese of Trenton
At the request of His Eminence Wilton Cardinal Gregory, Archbishop of Washington, the Apostolic Signatura of the Holy See imparts a plenary indulgence
- To those who physically take part in sacred celebrations connected with the annual “March for Life” in Washington, DC on January 20 and 21 2022;
- To the aged, sick and those who cannot be physically present for a grave reason but who are able to spiritually participate from home through any/all media presentations.
The usual conditions apply:
- A disposition of detachment from any kind of sin;
- Sacramental confession (on January 20-21, 2022 or within 20 days)
- Reception of Eucharistic Communion (on January 20-21, 2022 or within 20 days)
- Prayer for the intentions of the Holy Father (on January 20-21, 2022 or within 20 days).
The plenary indulgence may be applied to the person seeking it or for the holy souls in purgatory. It is valid for this event only: January 20-21, 2022 “March for Life” sacred ceremonies.
