To the Clergy, Religious and Faithful of the Diocese of Trenton

At the request of His Eminence Wilton Cardinal Gregory, Archbishop of Washington, the Apostolic Signatura of the Holy See imparts a plenary indulgence

  1. To those who physically take part in sacred celebrations connected with the annual “March for Life” in Washington, DC on January 20 and 21 2022;
  2. To the aged, sick and those who cannot be physically present for a grave reason but who are able to spiritually participate from home through any/all media presentations.

The usual conditions apply:

  1. A disposition of detachment from any kind of sin;
  2. Sacramental confession (on January 20-21, 2022 or within 20 days)
  3. Reception of Eucharistic Communion (on January 20-21, 2022 or within 20 days)
  4. Prayer for the intentions of the Holy Father (on January 20-21, 2022 or within 20 days).

The plenary indulgence may be applied to the person seeking it or for the holy souls in purgatory.  It is valid for this event only: January 20-21, 2022 “March for Life” sacred ceremonies.
