Notre Dame athletes take the plunge for a special cause

A crystal clear blue sky and the temperature hovering at 38 degrees set the scenario in Seaside Heights Feb. 26 where Father Jason Parzynski, Coach Sean Clancy, head football coach in Notre Dame High School, Lawrenceville, and 72 student-athletes were among the thousands to participate in the 2022 Polar Plunge for the Special Olympics. Father Parzynski, who is the school chaplain, said that "Thanks to the generosity of the parishioners of St. David the King Parish [West Windsor] and family and friends of the ND plungers we were able to raise $18, 806" of the total amount $1.9 million raised altogether from the event. Thank you for your generous support and prayers!"
