St. Mary Parish, Barnegat, will host its annual art show and sale Aug. 20 in the parish center located at Bishop Lane and McKinley Avenue in Manahawkin.

Set to run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the art show, which is organized by Linda and Jim Saladino, will feature the works of more than 30 artists, including oils, watercolors, pastels, acrylics, pencil drawings, photography, painting  on silk, cards, and for the first time this year quilted pieces.

Lunch will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the local St. Vincent de Paul food pantry and Family Promise, which houses the homeless.

“This is our ninth year and many of our artists have been with us from the beginning,” Linda Saladino said.

“Most of the artists are local and belong to the Pine Shores Art Association of Stafford/Manahawkin," she said, then commended the artists for donating 10% of their sales toward the outreach organizations.
