From Bishop O'Connell: HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF EFFORTS
From Bishop O'Connell: HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF EFFORTS

Most Reverend David M. O'Connell, C.M.

As Bishop, I invite and encourage the clergy, religious and faithful of the Diocese of Trenton to join me in sending the support of our prayers and contributions to earthquake relief efforts in Haiti through:

Catholic Relief Services

Massive 7.2 magnitude earthquake hits Haiti, killing more than 300 people, with death toll numbers increasing.

The shock leveled homes, leaving thousands without shelter. Countless others are injured and hospitals are already overwhelmed.

Haiti is a country already susceptible to hurricanes and still recovering from the disastrous earthquake a decade ago and many in Haiti are already facing widespread hunger due to drought and economic instability.

Your gift is critically important for the families in Haiti.

Three priests serving in our Diocese are from Haiti, two of whom are from the region in Haiti immediately affected.

When you give, whatever the amount, you provide immediate assistance for our Haitian sisters and brothers desperate to survive this devastating situation. Your help will deliver immediate relief.

Your prayers and generous support will make so much difference. Please give a vital gift today!
