Brick parish to mark St. Joseph solemnity with March 19 Mass

St. Dominic Parish, Brick, will commemorate the Solemnity of St. Joseph, the husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary and foster father of Jesus, March 19.

A solemn High Traditional Latin Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. in the church at 250 Old Squan Road.

Father Brian Woodrow, pastor of St. Dominic Parish and diocesan liaison to the Mass in the Extraordinary Form, will be the celebrant. Father Michael Wallack, pastor of St. John the Baptist Parish, Allentown, and Father Todd Carter, pastor of Holy Innocents Parish, Neptune, are scheduled to serve as deacon and subdeacon. The Schola Cantorum of St. John the Baptist Parish will provide the music.

Following the Mass, a reception will be held featuring food from the traditional St. Joseph’s Table.
