Co-Cathedral Parish Discussion Series continues to serve adults through education


St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral, Freehold, has begun its 2020 Discussion Series, now in its fifth year of bringing educational and transformational presentations to the public.

The series was created by parishioner Kathy Lo Bue to meet people where they are, and bring together knowledgeable, experienced speakers to help participants navigate through various life issues.

It’s sponsored by Lo Bue and Glen Eagle Advisors, Freehold, a faith and family investment firm where she serves as managing director.

The series kicked off with Body in Balance, Holistic Approach to Healthy Eating and Weight Loss, held Jan. 21 with Lisa Testa, nutritional consultant.

The coming months offer the following discussions:

Getting Older Ain’t for Sissies, A Financial Perspective, March 24, Kathy Lo Bue, Managing Director, Glen Eagle Advisors

Putting Laughter Back into Marriage, May 19, Henry Cugini and Kathy Lo Bue, facilitators

The Happiness Workshop, July 21, Diane Lang, therapist, educator, life coach

Defying Ageism, Finding Your Passion and Purpose, Sept. 15, Dr. Jeanne Koller, assistant professor, School of Social Work, Monmouth University

Laughter For The Health Of It!, Nov. 17, Michele Granberg, Certified Laugh Leader

All discussions, which are free to the community and non-sectarian, run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the St. Robert Bellarmine Parish Center/ Msgr. Dentici Hall, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold.
