Riverton parish hosts celebration of marriage event


The gymnasium in Sacred Heart Parish, Riverton, was transformed into a “Candle-Lite Café” on Valentine’s evening, Feb. 14, when 35 married couples gathered to renew their marriage vows led by Father Charles Schwartz, pastor, and a reflection was offered by Deacon Mike Stinsman. The couples who attended the evening, which included dinner, dancing and conversation, ranged from being newly married to those married for 60 years.
