Vocation discernment barbecue canceled due to weather

August 2, 2020 at 7:23 p.m.

The vocation discernment barbecue that had been scheduled for Aug. 4 has been canceled due to the impending storm that is forecast to impact the region. No alternate date has been announced at this time.

The barbecue was to be held in St. John the Baptist Church, Allentown, for men interested in the priesthood. However, much of New Jersey is under a tropical storm warning as Isaias makes its way up the Eastern Seaboard.
