On Thursday, Oct. 10, St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral, Freehold, was filled with students, educators and volunteers from every corner of the Diocese of Trenton for the annual Catholic Schools Mass with Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M.
Hailing from Burlington, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean Counties, some 650 members of the Catholic school community gathered with clergy and others to give thanks for Catholic school education and pray for all those involved in this critical ministry of the Church. Forty-one schools were represented, and more than a dozen priests concelebrated.
Catholics and well-wishers throughout the Diocese and beyond were able to experience the Mass via live video stream at www.dioceseoftrenton.org, trentonmonitor.com and www.catholicschoolshaveitall.org. Live coverage began at 10:20 a.m. with the Procession of Schools, in which each attending school’s banner or flag was carried down the center aisle of the church.
The livestream replay is available on the home pages of the Diocese’s three websites: www.dioceseoftrenton.org, trentonmonitor.com and www.catholicschoolshaveitall.org. The video will be archived and available for viewing, and photos and news reports will be posted to trentonmonitor.com.
