Youth Ministry training workshop to focus on 'Connecting Communities'

The diocesan Department of Youth Marriage and Family Life will host a youth formation ministry program Jan. 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, 61 Georgia Rd., Freehold.

Using the theme, “Connecting Communities,” the workshop is open to priests, deacons, directors and coordinators of religious education, religious and catechists and will provide foundational and practical ideas about building community with youth and connecting them to the wider parish community and with their families.

Presenter will be Terry Ginther, diocesan executive director of the Office of Pastoral Life and Mission. There will be time for discussion, small group sharing and a question/answer session.

This workshop is part of the diocesan certificate program in youth ministry.

Registration fee is $25 and includes lunch. All priests, deacons and religious are invited to attend free of charge.
