Workshop will focus on 'Transforming Adults into Disciples'

 “Crossing the Threshold of Faith: Transforming Adults into Disciples” will be the theme of an adult faith formation workshop to be held June 8, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.,  in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, 61 Georgia Rd., Freehold.

Sponsored by the diocesan Ministry of Catechesis and Evangelization, the workshop will focus on the contributions of the Second Vatican Council to liturgical life arising from Baptism. The day will also explore understanding and learning how to pray the Liturgy of the Hours.

Presenters will be Dr. Christopher Bellito, a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish and chair and associate professor of history in Kean University, Union, and Dr. Greg Glazov, senior fellow of The St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology and assistant professor of biblical studies in Seton Hall University, South Orange. Dr. Bellito’s presentation will be at 10 a.m. and Dr. Glazov will speak at 12:35 p.m. At 2:20, participants will have an opportunity to address questions with the speakers.

Fee is $20 and includes lunch. Make checks payable to Diocese of Trenton – MCE and mail to Diocese of Trenton-MCE, 701 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrenceville, N.J. 08648.
