LourdesCare at New Hanover, a comprehensive outpatient center that offers expert radiology testing and physical therapy services, is hosting a free women’s health fair March 3 from 9 a.m. to noon at 25 Wrightstown-Cookstown Road, just outside the entrance to McGuire Air Force Base.

The health fair, which is free of charge, to offer blood pressure screenings, blood glucose and cholesterol testing, body fat analysis, bone density testing, balance technique demonstrations and overall health risk assessment. Health lectures and information will also be offered by Lourdes physicians as well as facility tours, refreshments and seated chair massages. Children are welcome to bring their stuffed animals for a check-up at the fair’s teddy bear clinic.

Participants will also receive a certificate for a free EKG exam and pocket EKG card. The card contains vital health and baseline EKG information which can be useful to medical personnel in the event of an emergency.
