Walk-a-thon to support homeless, pregnant women, children planned

Good Counsel Home, South Jersey, will hold a walk-a-thon in support of homeless, pregnant women and their children June 1 in various locations.
Good Counsel Home supports pregnant women and their children with a safe, loving home; food; medical care; education; job skills; social skills; counseling; spiritual guidance; parenting; nutrition; and computer classes.
Registration is from 8:30 to 10 a.m., followed by the walk from 9 a.m. to noon. The locations within the Diocese of Trenton include Burlington County Memorial Park, 2300 Block Lenola Rd., Cinnaminson; and Freedom Park, Union St., Medford. Locations outside of the diocese include Cape May County: Wildwood Boardwalk, E. Burk Ave. and Boardwalk, Wildwood; Gloucester County: James G. Atkinson Memorial Park, 138 Bethel Mill Rd., Hurffville, and Camden County: Cooper River Park, North Park Dr., Pennsauken.
