Visitation Church Presents a Virtual Pilgrimage to Lourdes, France

A virtual pilgrimage to Lourdes, France, will be presented July 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. in Visitation Parish, Brick.
Our Lady of Lourdes Hospitality-North American Volunteers, are the hosts for a virtual Pilgrimage to Lourdes, which is a Public Association of the Christian Faithful in the Catholic Church and a non-profit charity. This organization, among other things, also brings the very sick to Lourdes aided with a medical support team, even the most infirmed.
Presenter Fran Salaun will represent the North American Lourdes volunteers and is the guide for the virtual pilgrimage. She has been to Lourdes many times as a volunteer and is a leader who now serves on the formation team to share the message of Lourdes. She is a trained guide of the Sanctuaries of Lourdes. She has been a virtual Pilgrimage guide for four years, traveling around the country, and most recently in Communist China, sharing Our Lady’s Message. Salaun is also a professed Secular Franciscan of the Holy Stigmata Fraternity in New York.
During the 90-minute guided Lourdes experience, participants will be able to immerse themselves in the Gospel Message of Lourdes as given by Our Lady to St. Bernadette. They will have the opportunity to touch the grotto rock and to experience the healing grace of Lourdes water. As part of this spiritual opportunity to draw nearer to God with Our Lady and St. Bernadette, participants will share in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction and pray a candlelit Rosary.
A Plenary Indulgence is granted to all the faithful, under the usual conditions, who attend a virtual Pilgrimage with the North American Lourdes Volunteers. The petitions of the gathered community will be hand delivered to the Grotto in Lourdes by the North American Lourdes Volunteers and each participant will receive a bottle of Lourdes water to take home.
The parish is equipped with elevator and is handicapped accessible. ‘
