Vascular screenings offered in Brick parish

St. Dominic Parish Nurse Ministry, Brick, will sponsor AngioScreen vascular screenings Nov. 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the community room at 250 Old Squan Rd.
Working in collaboration with Meridian Health, AngioScreen is a revolutionary, new vascular screening designed to provide people with information about their circulation and risk for heart attack and stroke.
The 15-minute vascular screening includes: carotid artery ultrasound; peak systolic velocity (PSV); ankle brachial index (ABI); blood pressure in both arms; abdominal aortic aneurysm, body mass index, heart rhythm EKG and pulse.
Immediately following the screenings, patients will be provided with a full-color report of their results, educational materials and a consultation with a registered nurse. Participants are encouraged to share their results with their personal physicians.
