Valentine Gift of Love

Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, Princeton, held its annual Locks of Love haircutting event during which 17 students and faculty members donated their hair to the national organization that makes wigs for girls with permanent hair loss. Stylists from Metropolis Spa and Salon in Princeton donated their time and talents, giving complimentary haircuts to the children and adults who donated hair. The Stuart community has donated more than 240 ponytails in the past 13 years to Locks of Love. The organization uses the ponytails to make human hair wigs for children with permanent hair loss, enabling these children to take part in regular activities such as ballet, gymnastics and swimming.   Photo courtesy of Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart.
