Trenton Diocesan PTA Council to celebrate 90th year

Clergy, PTA members and officers, past and present, are invited to attend the Trenton Diocesan Council of Parent Teacher Associations’ 90th annual conference Sept. 19 beginning at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton.

The conference, entitled “Keys of Change: Past, Present and Future,” will commence with 9:30 a.m. Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton, with Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., as principal celebrant.

Following Mass, the conference will resume in the George Washington Room of the Trenton War Memorial for brunch. The event will feature view video interviews with past and present PTA members; memorabilia assembled by the PTA historical committee such as school yearbooks and NCEA awards, and the installation of new PTA officers, including incoming Trenton Diocesan Council PTA president Linda Anzano of St. Joseph School, Toms River.

Attendees are requested to R.S.V.P. for the conference by Sept. 4 via email to Katherine Prihoda at [email protected]. Please include your name and contact information; name of school, and school PTA president’s name and contact information.

St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral is located at 151 N. Warren Street, Trenton. The Trenton War Memorial is located at 1 Memorial Drive, Trenton.
