"To everything there is a season ..."

With the turning of the calendar page to September, the school season in the Diocese of Trenton’s 43 Catholic elementary and secondary schools has begun, making anticipation the common experience of students, families and educators alike.

Children leaving parents for the first time, parents having to navigate new schedules, the prospect of making friends, riding the bus, or being successful at learning or teaching are experiences most strongly felt, perhaps, on the first day of school.

Administrators and faculty welcome students, mindful of the prospect for possibilities and growth in schools centered in Christ, where worship and prayer are daily occurrences.

Monitor freelance photographers were on the go in recent weeks capturing Back to School highlights around the diocese.
