Timothy J. Losch, a resident of Lambertville and longtime and passionate supporter of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, and its mission, died April 21. He was 66.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. John Church, Lambertville, with burial following in the parish cemetery.

“Tim was an extraordinary man, kind and compassionate, who generously contributed to Catholic Charities through his time, talent and treasure,” stated Marlene Lao-Collins, Catholic Charities executive director. “He was a wise advisor and very committed to serving the most vulnerable. We will keep his family in our prayers.”

Mr. Losch spent 44 years working in the banking field, 25 of which he was senior vice president of New Jersey National Bank/Core States, 10 years as executive vice president of Yardville National Bank, nine years at Fulton Bank of New Jersey, first as a regional vice president of Central Region, and most recently as chairman of the Central Region Advisory Board. He also served as chairman and held membership on other regional and county committees, foundations and outreach agencies and was active in his parish.

His involvement with Catholic Charities began in 1996 as a member of the planning committee for the Guardian Angel Dinner Dance, which is the agency’s major fundraiser held each fall. He eventually went on to become a member of the board of trustees. Mr. Losch’s affiliation with the Trenton Diocese also included membership on the St. Francis Medical Center Foundation, Trenton. Awards he received included the Citizen of the Year Award by Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2006 and the Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton Richard J. Hughes Humanitarian Award in 2002.

Mr. Losch is survived by his wife Kathe Cavallo Losch; four children; nine grandchildren; three siblings, and two brothers-in-law.
