Cloudy skies cleared as 80 golfers gathered June 10 to participate in the annual Bishop Reiss Golf Outing to benefit retired priests of the Diocese of Trenton. Participants were treated to a barbecue luncheon, and a pair of golf shoes were given to each golfer as well as various other golf paraphernalia.  Golfers enjoyed competing for prizes for “closest to the pin hole” and “longest drive” for both men and women, and two hole-in-one holes with the chance to win a new car. Monies raised will go directly to the Harris Family Trust to benefit the aged and infirm priests who have served the Diocese faithfully for so many years.
