TCA to host forum on heroin/opiate epidemic Oct. 30

The heroin and opiate epidemic will be addressed in a forum to be held Oct. 30 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in Trenton Catholic Academy, 175 Leonard Ave., Hamilton.

The evening will include presentations by organizations including City of Angels, The Heroin/Opiate Task Force of Mercer County and Footprints to Recovery from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Following will be an information session and the showing of “Hidden in Plain Sight,” which was produced by powertotheparent.org, a media campaign designed to help parents keep teenagers healthy and safe.

All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend. Due to the content to be presented, the evening is open to those 18 years of age and older.
