TCA students welcome Gov. Christie during Catholic Schools Week

A select few students representing Catholic schools in all five New Jersey dioceses celebrated Catholic Schools Week with a trip to the state capitol and a private meeting with Gov. Chris Christie Feb. 4.

Students from Trenton Catholic Academy's Upper and Lower Schools were chosen to attend on behalf of the Trenton Diocese. Senior class president Frantz Massenat and seventh-grader Dominic Conte were the lucky students, joining TCA president Sister Dorothy Payne and representatives from the diocesan Office of Catholic Schools. They joined a small contingent of students and Catholic school representatives from each of the other New Jersey dioceses in touring the Statehouse and presenting the governor with letters of welcome.
