TCA Pajama Day raises funds and hope

When kids put on their pj’s, it usually means bed time is at hand. But the message signaled something far different when the students of Trenton Catholic Academy’s Lower School turned out in their warm flannels for a Pajama Day to raise money on behalf of Christine’s Hope for Kids Foundation. The foundation honors Christine Gianacaci who lost her life in the 2010 Haiti earthquake while on a humanitarian mission. Christine’s parents, John and Christine (in black sweaters) were there to accept an $850 check from the students. Christine’s Hope for Kids will match the donation and create “pajama bags” to donate to Womanspace, an organization that helps women and children in crisis. Courtesy photo
