Students have big hearts for service

Having labored long to create and collect blankets, get well cards, gift cards and notes of encouragement to families of children in hospitals, as well as tokens of appreciation and thank you cards for hospital staff, students of the Diocese’s Catholic schools visited hospitals to deliver their gifts in person June 5-6. The tokens of care were collected as part of the Diocese’s Hearts to Hospitals service campaign. In top photo, Mercer County students stand with hospital staff, holding a handcrafted blanket for a patient in Capital Health, Pennington. In bottom photo, Burlington County students pose with their gifts to Virtua Health, Mount Holly.
