Students earn top awards in Mercer County Science Fair

Students in St. Gregory the Great School, Hamilton Square, recently earned high honors at the 2012 Mercer County Science Fair.
Seventh-grader Nicholas Stewart and sixth-grader Nicholas Ehring were honored for their projects, and were also awarded the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Awards for their work. Stewart also received the Earle S. Rommel Communication Award.
Seventh-grader Jason Morelli and eighth-grader Rachel Taylor were honored with Meritorious Achievement awards, while sixth-grader Cecilia Chianese received Outstanding Achievement honors and seventh-grader Kristie Kubala received an Honorable Mention award. The students competed in the Junior Division with science projects that fell into the Physical or Biological categories.
