Students consider career choices

Approximately 20 successful professionals visited the middle school students in St. James School, Red Bank, March 15, to participate in Career Day 2013, an event designed to enlighten our students about the possibilities for their futures. The event exposed students to a variety of career fields and professions.
The professionals emphasized the importance of obtaining a college education and pursuing a career students would find fulfilling. Some of the professions represented were the food industry, F.B.I. and law enforcement, broadcast journalism, legal profession, merchandising and design, crime scene investigation and forensics, business owners, national park services and park rangers, medical field, and computer science technology.
