St. Francis Center offers support group for parents of abused children

St. Francis Counseling Services, Brant Beach, is offering a free, confidential support group for parents of sexually abused children.

Parenting AFTER brings parents together to develop emotional coping skills and learn ways to understand and manage the post-trauma behaviors and emotions of a child who has been abused.

The group will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for six weeks every Tuesday starting Jan. 23. The meetings will be held in Toms River.
