“Italian Night” – a joint effort between the Social Concerns Outreach Ministry of St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Red Bank, and the Middletown Lions Club – will take place Sept. 19, from 6 – 10 p.m. in the St. Anthony parish center, 121 Bridge Ave. and Herbert St., Red Bank.

The evening will include authentic Italian food prepared by members of the Middletown Lions Club, musical entertainment and fellowship. Proceeds of the event will benefit local residents in need of financial assistance.

The Middletown Lions Club is an all-volunteer, non-sectarian service organization, chartered in 1946 under Lions International. Members help the community through various charitable service and fundraising initiatives and programs, assisting individuals and families both locally and globally through their 501c3 Middletown Lions Club Foundation. Known worldwide as the “knights of the blind,” the Lions Club regularly offers free eye exams, eye glasses and hearing aids to those who meet specific financial criteria; the all-volunteer vision screening team, “Knights of Sight,” provides free vision screening for local school districts.

Tickets for Italian Night are $25. To order tickets, call St. Anthony’s Church, 732-747-0813 ext. 10.
