St. Ann School to present 'Alice in Wonderland'

“Curiouser and curiouser,” observes the confused young girl as she begins a magical adventure in “Alice in Wonderland,” the Disney Junior Musical based on the Lewis Carroll novels to be staged in St. Ann School, 34 Rossa Ave., Lawrenceville. Performances are scheduled for April 24, 30 and May 1 at 7 p.m. and a matinee on April 25 at 3 p.m.

The St. Ann School Drama Club, formed by parents seven years ago, features two full casts in addition to a student stage crew under the direction and choreography of Robin Scott.

“We are blessed with many terrific actors and singers, so we are spreading the talent around, and the students are doing a great job of bringing the silliness and joy of Wonderland to life,” Scott said.

Alice will be played by six different people between the two casts; Sarah Barkley and Rita Marino; Tall Alice, Maddie Gordon and Rachel Kaniper; and Small Alice, Mariah Kondash and Francesca Lucolino. Running time is about 90 minutes.

Advance tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children (kids under three are free). To reserve tickets, call 609883-0246. For information, call Mike Meagher at 609-883-8619 or [email protected]
