Spirituality day on Mercy planned for Dec. 5 at chancery

The diocesan Department of Pastoral Care – Jail and Prison Ministry will hold a day of spirituality on the theme of Mercy Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Bishop Ahr Conference Room of the Chancery-Pastoral Center, Lawrenceville.
The day will be facilitated by Vincentian Father Aidan Rooney, superior of the international mission in El Alto who will speak about being an agent of mercy in the prisons during the Year of Mercy.
Father Rooney currently resides in Philadelphia and is working on website projects for the superior general. At the end of January he is scheduled to return to his regular mission as pastor in a parish in Los Altos, a mountain region in Bolivia.
The spirituality day is open to anyone who wishes to attend.
