Spirituality and Education Days for Maturing Adults highlights Year of Faith


Spirituality and Education Days for Maturing Adult, hosted by the diocesan Ministry for Maturing Adults (55 +) will be held throughout May in all four counties. The day will begin at 9 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast followed by a spiritual and educational presenter. Mass will be celebrated at 11:45 a.m. A boxed lunch will be offered at 12:45 p.m. followed by entertainment ending at 2:30 p.m.

The Spirituality and Education Days will be held on the following dates in the named churches; May 1, St. Raphael, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, May 8, St. Isaac Jogues, 3 Lord Place, Marlton; May 15, St.

Catharine, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel, and May 22, St. Pius X, 300 Lacy Road, Forked River.

Highlighting the Year of Faith, spiritual presenters for May 1 and 22 will be Father William Lago, chaplain, Monmouth University, West Long Branch and May 8 and 15 will be Msgr. Walter Nolan, pastor emeritus of St. Paul Parish, Princeton and host of the diocesan Radio/Television show the Catholic Corner. Educational speaker, Doris Hudak, author, who will talk about her pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, Spain in the footsteps of St. James, will be at all four dates.

Registration deadlines for each date are as follows; May 1, deadline April 19, May 8, deadline April 26; May 15, deadline May 3, and May 22, deadline May 9.
