Spanish R.C.I.A. workshop on 'Doing the Rites, Right' scheduled

The diocesan Department of Catechesis will present a training workshop in Spanish for persons involved with the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults in their parishes Jan. 20 in St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Red Bank.

Geared for R.C.I.A. directors and team members, the workshop, which is entitled, “Doing the Rites, Right,” will focus on the rites celebrated within the R.C.I.A. process. Included will be an overview of the rites and practical application of the text as well as adaptations that can be made. Time will be allotted for discussion and a question and answer session.

Presenter will be Father Carlos Aguirre, parochial vicar of St. Joseph parish, Toms River.

The workshop will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. and dinner will be provided. Fee is $10 and make checks payable to the Diocese of Trenton. Mail payment to Diocese of Trenotn, DEC/R.C.I.A., 701 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrenceville, N.J. 08648.
