Six-week health series in Keyport

The Health Ministry in St. Joseph Parish, Keyport, is offering a six-week complimentary, evidence-based workshop created by Stanford University that will provide participants with the tools to create strategies for managing chronic conditions such as arthritis, heart and lung conditions, anxiety, diabetes and high blood pressure.
Participants will learn how to manage stress, improve communication, cope with depression and fatigue, increase energy levels, eat healthily and maintain their weight. Participants will also receive a complimentary reference book, “Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions.” At the end of the series, certificates of completion will be awarded.
Sessions will meet from1 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 29, Nov. 5, 12, 19, Dec. 3 and 10. Space is limited. To register, call 732-567-9486.
