Sister Marie Vivienne Dubray, taught in Holy Cross High

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Jan. 5 in Our Lady of Loretto Church, St. Mary’s, Notre Dame, Ind., for Sister Marie Vivienne Dubray, a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, who died Jan. 1.

The former Louise Marie Dubray was born in Fredericksburg, Texas, to the late Joseph M. and Agnes Nester Dubray. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1933 and her teaching ministry included the Diocese of Trenton, where from 1961 to 1970, she taught in Holy Cross High School, Delran.

Sister Marie Vivenne retired to St. Mary’s, Notre Dame, in 1997 and was active in the ministry of prayer until her death. Sister Marie Vivenne is survived by two sisters, one brother and one nephew.
