A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 29 in Our Lady of Angels Convent Chapel, Aston, Pa., for Franciscan Sister Francesca Krolczyk, who died March 24. She was 91.

Sister Francesca entered the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia in 1949 and professed her first vows in 1952. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in math from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and a master of arts degree in math from The Catholic University of America, Washington. She ministered primarily in education on elementary, secondary and collegiate levels in Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C., and New Jersey. In the Trenton Diocese, she taught in St. Anthony High School, Hamilton.

Burial was in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Aston. Sister Francesca is survived by her nephews, her great nieces and nephews and by her Franciscan family.

Donations in her name can be made to the Sisters of St. Francis Foundation, 609 S. Convent Road, Aston, Pa. 19014.
