Sister Ella Mae Hill, ministered in St. Rose High School

Funeral services were held March 21 in St. Joseph Villa, Flourtown, Pa., for Sister of St. Joseph Ella Mae Hill, who died March 17 at age 86.

Daughter of the late William and Ella, Sister Ella Mae (formerly Sister Michael Andrew) was received into the congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1952. In her ministry of education, she taught primarily at the high school level with assignments in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including her last position of working in the library of St. Rose High School, Belmar. She also had served her community as a former local superior.

Sister Ella Mae is survived by cousins and members of her congregation.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, Pa., 19031.
