Funeral services were held Dec. 2 in Our Lady of Peace Residence, Scranton, Pa., for Immaculate Heart of Mary Sister Elizabeth Grace who died Nov. 25.

Born in 1917 in Pittston, Pa., Sister Elizabeth (the former Sister M. Isidore) entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Sept. 8, 1936. She made her temporary profession of vows May 8, 1939, and her final profession of vows Aug. 2, 1942.

Sister Elizabeth served as a teacher in schools in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York and New Jersey. In the Trenton Diocese, she taught in Sacred Heart School, Mount Holly, from 1955 to 1961, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Asbury Park, from 1961 to 1965. She was also an instructor at the IHM Educational Enrichment Institute in the IHM Center, Scranton.

Sister Elizabeth Grace held a bachelor of science degree in education from Marywood College, Scranton.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Burial was in St. Catherine Cemetery, Moscow, Pa.

Memorial donations may be made to support the retired IHM Sisters, c/o the IHM Sisters Retirement Fund, IHM Center, 2300 Adams Ave., Scranton, Pa. 18509.
