A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 27 in St. Lucy Chapel at Villa Walsh, Morristown, for Filippini Sister Angeline Dal Corso, who died March 23. She was 101.

Born and raised in Trenton, Sister Angeline entered the Religious Teachers Filippini June 28, 1931, was invested July 3, 1932, and made her final religious profession July 31, 1935.

Sister Angeline held a bachelor’s degree with a major in English from the College of St. Elizabeth, Convent Station, and graduate credits from Seton Hall University, South Orange, The Catholic University of America, Washington, and Jersey City State College.

Sr. Angeline taught elementary grades in various schools in the Archdioceses of Newark and Hartford and the Dioceses of Trenton, Camden and Bridgeport, Conn. In the Trenton Diocese, she taught in St. Joachim School, Trenton, from 1951 to 1952, and Villa Victoria Academy, Ewing, from 1980 to 1981. Other roles she assumed were as a reading specialist, principal, religious education coordinator and local superior.

Sister Angeline is survived by nieces and nephews.
